Meet Kimi Parata
Survivor. Mother. Wahine Toa.
She was abused from the age of 5 by her neighbour, then her brother in law at age 10 and finally her uncle at age 14. She successfully prosecuted both her brother in law and uncle, and is fondly known as the Captain. What helped her through was being a mother and her faith.
